This itinerary is designed to combine the pleasure of a leisurely ride with the joy of tasting, culminating in a surprising finale right where the day meets the sea.
It’s not an event. It’s a taste of Tuscany. By bike!

We recommend low-profile tires with a width of 40–50 mm or more for gravel riding and 2.1″–2.35″ tires for MTB, so you can handle gravel, dirt roads, and short technical sections safely and effectively.
Parking: For those who choose to arrive by bike, we recommend two convenient options:
Option 1 – Parking in Marina di Pisa
You can park your car in the lot in front of Pia Para Tì in Marina di Pisa—the route’s endpoint—and ride along the Trammino bike path to Giardino Scotto, the event’s starting point.
Option 2 – Parking in the City
Alternatively, you can consult the Pisa parking map and cycle back at the end of the day, after the final stop at the beach, scheduled from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. In this case, we recommend that you equip your bike with front and rear lights to ensure a safe return.

The tour departs from The tour departs from Giardino Scotto in Pisa, the heart of the Terre di Pisa Bike Days, at 11:00 a.m.
The route gradually leaves the city, passing through secondary roads, bike paths and dirt tracks.
After passing through Pontedera, the birthplace of the legendary Vespa, we will enter the heart of the hills and head towards the highlight of the day: Monte Serra, which dominates the Pisa plain.
We will reach it by cycling through rolling green hills on roads that capture the essence of Tuscany. Our first gourmet stop will be at one of the region’s most highly regarded olive oil mills in Vicopisano, a land of excellent olive oil and living tradition.

Then comes the challenge of climbing up Monte Verruca. This picturesque ascent winds for seven kilometres, offering spectacular views of Pisa and the sea.
We start on asphalt, and then the road turns to gravel, bringing us closer to nature, exertion, silence and beauty.
After taking in the views during a well-deserved break, we’ll descend on a dirt road towards Calci. Then, we’ll return to Pisa along low-lying roads and the picturesque route of the ancient aqueduct until we reach the city.
But the day doesn’t end there. We’ll follow the Trammino bike path straight to the sea for a surprising finale on the beach with an aperitif — the perfect way to celebrate a day spent to the fullest among bikes, the local landscape and shared experiences.
